The Government of Punjab, through the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), has launched the Ehsaas Aghosh Program to provide financial and medical assistance to pregnant women and mothers of children under two years old. This program aims to improve maternal health, ensure safe childbirth, and support early child development. Eligible women can receive a total of Rs. 23,000 in multiple installments, along with free medical checkups every three months.
This initiative is part of the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project and is currently active in 12 districts of Punjab. It targets low-income and vulnerable households to ensure that children get a healthy start in life.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Ehsaas Aghosh Program, applicants must:

There is no online registration for this program. If eligible, follow these steps:

Payment Structure
Beneficiaries receive the Rs. 23,000 in different stages:

Rs. 2,000 upon registration.

Rs. 1,500 for each of four antenatal checkups during pregnancy.

Rs. 4,000 for safe delivery at a government health facility.

Rs. 2,000 for the newborn’s checkup within 15 days of birth.
